"Where the caterpillar dreams, the butterfly writes" is the message engraved on the front of these journals. I wanted to design something that would be inspirational, functional and beautiful. I drew this design digitally and worked side by side with my brother at Statedwoods Co in West End, NC to laser engrave my design into the leather. This journal is made from a durable dark brown espresso colored cowhide leather that has a flexible temperment but stiff enough to be substantial for decades to come.
