Must Have's for Winter 2017

As you know, I am an avid Made in USA, Made local supporter. Since the winter snow is among us, I thought I would point out a few companies and products that I believe in and thing that you should too! First is MADE HERE NEW YORK, cable knit blankets. Wow are they nice! The cotton is grown in the USA, then spun in Thomasville, NC at Hill Spinning Mill where they employee 45 families, and then it is knitted in Brooklyn. Made Here New York does blankets and apparel and I think that you should check them out!

I had the privilege of meeting one of the weavers from Ecoview Mill this past weekend at the Our State weekend at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC. They are a fiber company that specializes in alpaca, making socks, gloves, wraps, pillows, and even cable knit sweaters for your canine baby that are to die for! Frisco, our shop dog, (which you can follow on Instagram @FriscoRoyce) will definitely be sporting a new sweater very soon!) These socks are only 21$, and made in NC, you can't beat that!

Ok, so over the holidays, I fell in love with Sweet Nanny Goat Soap! They are made from goat milk, right here in Thomasville, NC. Warm Apple Pie is my favorite and guess what they also make Frisco some soap! Each bar lasts forever and ever and is only 5$. I have super sensitive skin and it is very difficult for me to find handmade, local soap that doesn't mess with my skin and still smells amazing. I have definitely found the right product for me! You should check out their soaps, they have soap for men too!

You also need to check out Beestowed Bath Honey Soaking Salts too on Etsy (Come on, they are only 4$ a bag!!!)! I was given a pack of their soaking salts for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It's basically lavender, honey, and essential oils but it makes baths so much more enjoyable, and with the winter upon us, it is so important to moisture our skin properly.

If you have a product that you think we should check out, let us know! Email us at BlytheLeonard@aol.com and tell us why you like it and where it is made!
